Kidnetics

Kidnetics is a UK kids snack brand providing nutritional, high protein snacks for kids. They came to us with an existing store that was technically working, but quietly becoming a liability.

Their store had been built on a technical foundation that made sense for large-scale operations, but was more infrastructure than a growing DTC brand actually needed. The result was a site that was expensive to maintain and slow to update. Every small change required specialist development support. For a young brand that needed to move quickly, that was a real constraint on growth.

To make things more complicated, Kidnetics had no access to their own codebase and they needed to launch in two weeks. So rather than a migration, this was a full rebuild from scratch. Working from their existing designs, we rebuilt the entire store in two weeks, preserving the brand while moving them onto a foundation they actually owned and could control.

The rebuilt store gave Kidnetics something they hadn't had before, full control. The theme was built with deep customiser support, meaning the team could update layouts, fonts, and section styles themselves without touching code. We extended this further with granular controls for things like per-section font sizing & spacing, so they could fine-tune the store exactly to their vision.

The relationship didn't end at launch. Since then we've continued working with Kidnetics to improve their site further, consult on all things Shopify, and to ensure they have the ability to change whatever they need. One such improvement was on the product detail pages, iterating on layout, content hierarchy, and conversion optimisation to improve how the store turns visitors into customers.

James was phenomenal to work with. Clear communication throughout, excellent technical Shopify work, and a genuine understanding of our brand. We couldn’t recommend him more.
